~San Rafael's "West End" Neighborhood~

It's hard to believe that fall is here already! I hope everyone had a happy Halloween! I don'tt know about all of you but, for me, this year has flown by! It seems like it was just a few weeks ago that I moved into my new home here in the "West End" area of San Rafael... yet it was actually back in January! Lately, I have been trying to explore more of my new neighborhood and wanted to share some of my experiences with all of you:- Back in June, merchants from the West End Village rolled out their first Culture Crawl. The owner of Rebound Bookstore, Joel Eis, organized the event (which featured live music, wine tasting at Bananas at Large, a fashion show from Lily's, food tasting at Malabar Indian Store and specials from Lotus Chaat & Spices). This was just a sampling of some of the local merchants in my backyard.
