Can you hold a place before I apply?
PRANDI operates on a first come first serve basis. A fully completed application gives you the first opportunity to be considered for the property. -
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
No. The move in funds are the first months rent and security deposit. The security deposit does not serve as a last month’s rent. -
How old do you have to be to apply?
18 years or older. -
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, it’s fully refundable. -
Who needs a cosigner?
Cosigners are assessed on a case by case basis. A co-signer might be considered if, for example, you have no rental history, bad credit, etc. -
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
Click ‘Apply Here’ on our website and complete the online application. -
How do I pay rent?
Rent payments are accepted through the online Tenant Portal, or by mail or in person at our office located in San Rafael. -
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
All pets require prior approval and usually an increase in deposit before being allowed on a property, contact our office for further details. -
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
The person requesting to stay has to requalify, and both parties must agree to remove the departing party, contact our office for further details. -
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
Submit a 30-day written notice to PRANDI to terminate your lease. -
Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
The landlord is normally responsible for repairs and maintenance cost, with the notable exceptions of issues created by tenants. However, the “You break it, you buy it” rule applies in most cases, as well as other tenant -created issues like plumbing clogs, excessive dirty carpets, etc.
